Our Services

Oberlin Animal Hospital is a sate-of-the-art facility with advanced diagnostics and equipment. We offer a wide variety of services, from kitten and puppy care to complex surgeries, orthopedics, and dentals. We help to educate our clients on the importance of vaccinations, spay/neutering, and behavior/training. Our veterinarians are experienced with ultrasound, x-rays, dentals, and in-house blood diagnostics.

Dentistry

Over 75% of the patients we see are in need of some sort of dental care. We can extend your pet’s life by 15% if we keep their mouth healthy. That is why we recommend dental cleanings as part of your pet’s preventive care.

Microchipping

Did you know that one in three pets will be lost at some point during their lifetime? A microchip is inexpensive to you, virtually painless to your pet, easy to insert–and permanent!

Spay & Neuter

Wondering about whether to have your pet spayed or neutered? Ask us about the benefits for you and your pet.

Surgery

Our fully equipped surgery suite offers ample lighting, a heated surgery table for greater pet comfort, the option of laser surgery for certain procedures, close monitoring during anesthesia with pulse oximetry and direct supervision by our trained staff.

Water Therapy

Our underwater treadmill uses the natural properties of water to strengthen muscles with minimal pressure on your pet's joints. This therapy can help with rehabilitation, but also helps patients with osteoarthritis and obesity.

Preventative Care

Examinations are critical to finding and treating disease early. Pets age 5-7 times faster than we do. We recommend that all pets be examined by a veterinarian at least annually, but ideally every 6 months.
