Oberlin Veterinarians

At Oberlin Animal Hospital, our goal is to always provide the finest in veterinary care to pets that are brought to our facility and to be kind and considerate to their owners.

Dr. Cassandra Bayer, DVM

I was born and raised in Attica, Ohio, a rural farming community south of Sandusky. Growing up on a farm, animals were always a major part of my life. In high school I began working as an assistant at the local veterinary clinic. I received my BS at the University of Findlay in 2008, majoring in Biology: Life Science. In 2012 I graduated from Mississippi State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. Shortly after graduation, I was hired as an associate veterinarian at Oberlin Animal Hospital, and have been here since! I am currently enjoying life in the Oberlin area with my 2 dogs, 2 cats and ferret.

Dr. Jaime Lambert, DVM

I graduated from Seneca East High School in 1997, and went on to earn my bachelor of science degree in biology and my bachelor of science degree in pre-veterinary studies from the University of Findlay in 2000. I graduated from The Ohio State University’s college of Veterinary Medicine in 2004. Growing up on a farm in Attica, Ohio, I was always around animals, and decided at a very young age that I would like to become a veterinarian. After working for a small clinic in Willard, Ohio, I decided that I needed to “see the world”, and took on the challenging, but rewarding, role of a relief veterinarian. After four years, and having the pleasure of working for veterinarians in over 50 clinics in northern Ohio, my life-long goal of owning my own veterinary practice was realized in 2011 when I purchased Oberlin Animal Hospital from Dr. James Cobb, DVM, one of the most genuine people I have ever met in my life. My new goal is to serve the Oberlin and surrounding areas to the best of my ability, and to provide for my daughters, Sonnet and Sophia, and my son, Soren, who bring my husband and myself an abundance of love and laughter.

Dr. Laura Andray, DVM

I was born and raised in Toledo, Ohio and graduated from Perrysburg High School in 1997. From there I went on to graduate from The University of Findlay in 2001, earning my Bachelor of Science degree in pre-veterinary studies. In 2005, I graduated from Kansas State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. From 2005 until December 2014, I worked in a very busy, progressive and modern veterinary practice in rural Indiana. While loving the work that I was doing, I had the wonderful opportunity to join the team as an Associate Veterinarian at Oberlin Animal Hospital in January 2015 and move my son and I closer to family and friends back home. We made the long trek along with our 2 dogs, 1 cat, and fish. I currently love our life in Northeastern Ohio and am truly honored to serve and provide the best quality of care to the best of my ability to the residents and animals of Oberlin and the surrounding areas.
